Registration of National Gatka Federations (Asian Region)
The Asian Gatka Federation (AGF) invites officially constituted national Gatka federations from Asian countries to register and affiliate with AGF for participation in international Gatka activities and competitions.
This registration ensures recognition, membership, standardization and coordination of Gatka development across Asia in line with the international regulations of the World Gatka Federation (WGF).
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for registration and membership, a national Gatka federation must:
• Be a legally constituted organization for the promotion and regulation of Gatka within its country
• Be actively conducting national-level tournaments, training camps and promotional activities
• Hold or apply for affiliation with the World Gatka Federation (WGF)
• Have a clear administrative structure with elected office-bearers and a bank account.
• Have constituted its state level Gatka associations.
Mandatory Documents for Registration:
- Application letter requesting AGF affiliation
- Copy of the Federation’s constitution or by-laws
- List of Executive Committee members with contact details and profession
- Photographs of the President and General Secretary (for website publication)
- Official Federation logo
- Proof of Gatka-related activities (events, photos, certificates)
- Copy of affiliation certificate from WGF (or proof of application)
- Official contact details: federation address, phone, email, website.
Benefits of Registration & Affiliation:
Upon successful registration and approval by AGF:
• A formal affiliation certificate will be issued and will become member of AGF
• The federation will receive official communication and invitations to all AGF-sanctioned:
• International tournaments, competitions and events
• General Body Meetings, seminars and conferences
• Coaching camps, refresher courses and referee certification programs
• Eligibility to propose and nominate players, referees, judges and officials for international duties
• Federation details including President & General Secretary photos will be published on the AGF website
• Access to WGF/AGF official rulebooks, training modules and technical guidelines
• Option to host AGF-approved events, seminars and training sessions in their country
• Eligibility for continental awards, recognition and technical support
Annual Review & Compliance:
• Affiliated federations must renew their registration annually by confirming their updated office-bearers and submitting an annual activity report.
• Inactive federations or those failing to comply with AGF/WGF guidelines may be suspended or removed from the register.
