The Asian Gatka Federation (AGF) is dedicated to celebrating the spirit, skills and dedication that propel the ancient martial art of ‘Gatka’ into its dynamic future as a systematic sport. To honour the visionary leaders, talented athletes and passionate advocates who are shaping this journey, the AGF has instituted its annual awards. These accolades are our highest commendation for those whose extraordinary contributions inspire excellence across Asia.

The AGF Awards are designed with clear, purposeful objectives:
· To motivate and reward players who exemplify exceptional skills, unwavering discipline and true sportsmanship on the national and international stage.
· To honour the coaches, referees and judges whose expertise, dedication and mentorship are building a robust foundation for the sport’s future.
· To Recognize Visionary Leadership: To acknowledge the profound contributions of visionary promoters, organizations and dedicated supporters who have been instrumental in elevating the profile, reach and recognition of Gatka sport.
The Prestigious Awards
1. AGF Gatka Gaurav Award (Gatka Pride Award) :
The highest honour: This is the AGF’s most distinguished accolade, presented to an individual or organization for their transformative, longterm and exemplary contributions to the promotion and development of Gatka across Asia.
2. AGF President’s Award :
For the architects of the sport: This award recognises Gatka coaches, referees and trainers who have demonstrated unparalleled excellence in talent development, officiating and technical inculcation. Recipients are pioneers who have significantly raised competitive standards through workshops, seminars and their profound technical expertise.
3. AGF Player Excellence Awards :
It will be bestowed upon athletes who have delivered outstanding performances in the Asian Gatka Championship and other AGF recognised events. Beyond their competitive success, these players are ambassadors for the sport, actively contributing to its growth through training camps and promotional activities.
Ceremony of Honour
Awardees will be selected through a transparent open nomination process. They will be publicly celebrated at a premier AGF event, receiving:
· A commemorative shield or trophy
· A ceremonial shawl
· A formal Certificate of Achievement
· Permanent recognition on the AGF’s Official Roll of Honour
